FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:


1. What are the requirements to sign up for Email Sales Pro?

Email Sales Pro users must:
   1. Have an active Essendant's Email Service (DIY Email or OYB Email)
   2. Have an active sales-i account. (If you currently do not have a sales-i account and want to run Email Sales Pro, you can order “sales-i Lite” or the full sales-i program.)

2. Who is sales-i?
sales-i is a sales intelligence tool that analyzes your customers buying behaviors, comparing each one to all your other customers, so you know exactly what they are buying, what they are not buying, and what they should be buying. By putting this information in the hands or your sales team they have a complete picture of their customers including insights into any changes in customer spend. Learn more about sales-i

Who will see my customer data?
Your customer sales data is protected and remains in your sales-i cube. The only specific data shared with Essendant is the customer's email address and the campaign type they are enrolled in, to properly trigger the right email campaign to the right end-user. In some campaigns, with your permission, additional end-customer specific fields may be passed to populate emails with first name, account number, etc.   In addition, total sales data will be shared at the campaign level, to understand how well campaigns are performing and to identify opportunities for improvement or changes needed. 

4. Do I have control over which emails are sent and can they be personalized?
Yes. Email Sales Pro allows you to select between one or all of the different email campaigns available. Each campaign can be further personalized with unique campaign offers (i.e. discounts) as well as business branding (i.e. your company logo, contact information, etc.).

5. Is there reporting available?
Yes. Both sales reporting and email metric reports are available for all Email Sales Pro programs.

6. Can I suppress customer contacts I do not want to receive these offers?
Yes. As part of the Email Sales Pro set up, you will be able to identify any customer contacts you do not want to be included in the campaigns. Contacts will also have the ability to opt-out from these emails through their email subscription preferences.
