Did you know there is a documentation folder containing useful ECDB information? If not, here’s what you’re missing:

• The ECDB2 Content Usage Guidelines provide insight on how the data can be utilized.
• The ECDB2 Technical Guide details the file structure, fields of information and, beginning on Page 6, how to create image URLs to link to Essendant hosted images.
• Image URLs for brand, main images, alternate images and MSDS for items included in the current ECDB.
• A list of the current month’s syndicating items. The document includes the following columns for each item in the monthly ECDB: Item Number, Product Number, Description, Hierarchy Level 1, Hierarchy Level 2, Hierarchy Level 3, UoM, Vendor, Image Name, Alternate Image Names, Product Restriction Description and Retail UPC.
• The Monthly State Restricted Table lists current state restricted items.
• The current What’s New document in a pdf format.

The documentation can be found in the “Docs” folder where ECDB files are downloaded.
